Victoria has been a wonderful consultant throughout my breast cancer journey. Diagnosed with DCIS in late 2021, I was traumatised. But Victoria helped me to understand more about this early breast cancer and how it can be successfully treated. I was unlucky in needing 4 excisions to finally remove it all and get the margins right. At one time a mastectomy was discussed but luckily I didn’t have to go that route. A lumpectomy and LTAP reconstruction was performed instead. Follow up and care, consultations with Victoria and the Breast care team have been fantastic. I now move on to radio therapy but am very happy with the care and attention I have received so far. I should add that I also had wonderful attention and surgery from Ritchie Chalmers who covered during Victoria’s absences and offered amazing emotional support, as I was struggling with a possible mastectomy. I understand that Richie performed the LTAP and Victoria also participated.

Miss Teoh has been amazing, after hearing there had been some confusion and delay in my treatment (nothing to do with her, by the hospital) Miss Teoh went above and beyond to get me in for surgery, I felt very safe in the knowledge that she was the one operating on me and came to see me after surgery to make sure I was completely comfortable with all information I needed to go home. Miss Teoh also saw me a couple of weeks later to make sure I was healing well and answer any further questions. She is a credit to the hospital.

I was recently under the care of Miss Teoh and I don’t think I could have wished for a better medical professional. She was warm and welcoming, explained everything very clearly and made sure I understood what was going to happen. I never felt rushed. She was so kind and caring. A Natural ability to put a patient at ease in what is a very stressful situation. During what was a horrible time in my life, I’m so glad I was under her care.

I am so truly blessed to have had Miss Victoria Teoh as my surgeon after being diagnosed with breast cancer at The Royal Marsden Hospital, London. I under went left breast mammaplasty and right breast symmetrizing mammaplasty in July 2020 which was a truly brilliant outcome. The result and look of my surgery is outstanding and so neat. There are no words to thank Victoria enough for what she has done for me. Her expertise, professionalism, care, warmth and patience is exempt. All the appointments I had with Victoria before my operation she informed and explained everything in detail about my surgery. I never felt rushed and I could ask as many questions as needed. Victoria is an excellent surgeon and a very kind, caring beautiful human.
